Understanding Percent Yield:

90-100% Yield:

Excellent - Very efficient reaction with minimal losses

70-89% Yield:

Good - Acceptable efficiency for most reactions

50-69% Yield:

Moderate - Room for optimization

Below 50% Yield:

Poor - Significant losses or side reactions

Common Causes of Low Yield:
